  I inquired about my military son's tax return (I am his POA) The receptionist was courteous but the owner was plain rude. They did provide federal refund amount to me verbally but refused to allow me to look at it. I am curious to view, because I believe the state filing was done incorrectly. They said it WAS their property. The owner did say she could give me a paper copy for $10. Really, my son's taxes IS their property yet they would sell it to me for $10! I then asked how I could gain electronic access to everything. The owner said since I am not compensating her for her time that she refused to show me. What ever happened to helping others? My son is serving our country (currently overseas) and this owner is expecting to be compensated for every minute of her time. Don't trust this place... once you give them your information, it becomes THEIR PROPERTY!

  I had an appointment for 9:30 am but when I showed up there was no one at the store. The sign said open but the door was locked. What a joke!

  I've decided against posting the details of my experience because when I think about it I start getting really irritated. So I'll just say that it was the worst experience ever, and advise you to go someplace else.

  After having H & R Block complete my 2011 taxes, this year, I find I was improperly charged to pay an extra $4,500 dollars in taxes. In order to get that money back we would need to re-file, which would cost 200 with another business in town. Upon hearing the H & R Block guarantee (which is, trust me, no guarantee) on the radio which states that they will guarantee the highest return or your taxes will be paid, I bring this up to a manager and surprise...... there's a technicality and then she states that your taxes are only to be paid if you allow H and R Block to fix the issue. It's your life, but I will never, ever set foot in this place or recommend this business to another living, breathing, tax-payer again. Now, I cue the manager to come on here and "save face" and say "we did everything correctly for the information that we had". That's the problem, they don't know anything and of course will not admit to a mistake unless you allow them to fix it. Further proof that the customer is not valued by H & R Block. Stay away.
